At Munich airport, you will get all the boarding pass at a time.
SAS is operated through Lufthansa regarding the ground service in Munich, so you see the boarding pass are using Lufthansa's as well.
The baggage regulation is just quite common, each person has one piece of 23 kg of luggage. The fight from Munich to Stockholm is quite a common one in the European inner-continent one. No food, only coffee and tea for free on the flight. No personal TV. So you should bring a book with you.
For the long haul, let's board the plane.
from the gate door
You can find the length of chair rows here. I am 1.73m tall.
Today I chose a seat at the very end of the cabin, found out that the plane is not so full. Found an empty row
You can see the crew cabin next to me.
You have some movies, TVs and other stuff to spend the time with.
You have to pay for WIFI, so forget it
It is an A330, quite a new one.
You get the first meal after a while, around 2 hours later after boarding. (No worry, they have the same meal for flights to USA and Asia. This is still a good reference to you.)
I really don't like the cheese, but I ate them all.
I don't really know what this is, but not so bad as it looks like.
This snack is so sweet, that even me as an ant can not eat them all.
The galley is like this...For long-haul flights, longer than 4 hours, you have one soft drink free. The rest of time, you will only find, coffee, tea and water in the galley. The plane is new, so the toilet seems much better than air china...
You need to prepare lotion yourself (of course, make sure the bottle is <100ml), I did not find it on this plane.
Oh, by the way, if you want to buy red wine, it looks like this. A small bottle for some bucks, that I think I can buy a whole 1liter in Munich.
Ok, 9 hours after boarding, you got the breakfast like this...
Let me take the pie to the side so that you can see it clearer.
The fritata is not my type,
Oh, my. 1.5 hour later have I landed. Nice to have you with me on the flight.
My comment on this experience will be,
expect less, and you will get more than you thought.
SAS is in severe competition with Norwegian, therefore, SAS has much similar service with LCC.
Like only tea and coffee for short haul flights. Only 1 soft drink, for the rest of time, coffee, tea, and water free for long-haul flights. (You can get those bottles of water in the vacant seats, though.)
Cabin attendants are nice ones in this flights.
